5-6 cups powdered sugar
Cream frosting, heavy whipping cream and vanilla together. Gradually add powdered sugar until peaks form (should be stiff enough to pipe frosting onto cupcakes).
Rainbow cookie dough frosting:
1 cup butter (softened)
1 cup flour
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp orange extract
1/4 cup milk
M&Ms and white chocolate chips
4 cups powdered sugar
Cream butter, milk and extracts together. Gradually add flour and powdered sugar until frosting reaches the consistency of dough. Divide the dough evenly into 3 separate bowls. Using colored gel pastes, color one bowl of dough pink, another bowl yellow, and the third bowl blue. Cookie dough frosting should still be stiff. Pile each color on top of eachother in a bowl and fold M&M’s/chips in. Using an ice cream scoop, scoop the rainbow dough frosting on top of each cupcake.

Use hot water or coffee for the liquid
Use 4 eggs for all other flavors except for the white cupcakes
Depending on the flavor of cupcake, experiment with different puddings: chocolate pudding with chocolate cupcakes, strawberry pudding for strawberry cupcakes, Oreo pudding in a white cake mix for a cookies and cream cupcake, butterscotch pudding in a yellow cake mix, etc!
Directions:

Once cupcakes are cooled, frost and swirl and sprinkle with glitter.

The Jefferson City Council voted 3-0 Thursday morning in a special-called meeting to ask the Humane Society of Jefferson County give the city back $3,700 of this fiscal year’s allocation.
“That’s for the remaining three months,” said City Manager John Johnson.
The Jefferson County Humane Society recently agreed to leave the animal shelter and services have been handed over to a newly-organized nonprofit, Companion Animal Rescue and Education or CARE.
The Jefferson County Commission voted in March to reallocate its funding from the Humane Society to CARE because of concern’s the Humane Society was not taking in county resident’s animals.
Now the city is asking for its remaining portion of its $14,800 donation for the 2017-2018 fiscal year, which ends July 1.
Johnson said he was not sure if that funding would be redirected to CARE. He said for municipalities there will be some state guidelines met for vetting before the city can make a donation to the nonprofit.
But, he said if CARE meets the guidelines the city would possibly provide them funding in the future.
“We’re interested,” he said. “We have animals that need shelter.”
Walters State’s Department of Music and Drama took a big risk when it decided to take on the dark comedy, “Heathers: The Musical.” The risk pays off for audiences.
This is the last weekend of the production, with shows at 7:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and 2:30 p.m. on Sunday.
The play is based on the 1988 cult classic film, “Heathers.” Fans will be glad to know that the production stays true to the movie. The production is also a tribute to everything we liked about the 80s – shoulder pads, attitudes and big hair. This play is for mature audiences only due to the language and adult situations.
Jessica Witte shines as Veronica, a high school student invited to join a group of mean girls that literally rule the high school, the Heathers. Delaney Quaderer, Dani Tower and Rebekah Frith are so good at being mean that people in front rows might actually be scared of their wrath during a few scenes.
Taylor Talley is cast as J.D. Dean; Matt Byrd plays Ram Sweeney; and Logan McGinnis plays Kurt Kelly. With the play’s strong female voice, it would be easy for these characters to get lost, but they don’t. The acting abilities displayed on the Walters State stage goes far beyond the years of the actors.
One of the reasons director TJ Kent chose this play is that it shows off the voices of many students, and the musical features over 20 songs.
These songs convey key parts of the dialogue. Others convey the inner thoughts of characters. The songs are one of the reasons this play is for mature audiences only.
The student performers never miss a note. The powerful voices of these college students fill the theatre and, at times, leave audience members wanting another verse.
This shouldn’t be a surprise, knowing that Laura Ritter, assistant dean of humanities at the college, is the show’s music director.
The play’s unpredictable ending defies the somewhat rowdy nature of most of the production.
The scene is genuinely touching, tying up many of the plot’s hanging questions and bringing star needed resolution to star characters.
The ending makes this play one of the more emotional ones produced locally in a while. Audience members literally laugh and cry.
This play deals with many issues that have caused teenage angst for generations – the need to fit in, sexuality, thoughts of suicide and violence.
Walters State’s counseling staff will be available after each performance should anyone need to talk about issues brought up in the play.
The cost of the play is $12 for general admission, $10 for senior citizens and $5 for students.

What has happened at Kellyvision KCS Limited since winning?
Since winning the award Kellyvision has decided to broaden its portfolio after hearing a presentation last year from bespoke supplier Symphony to include kitchen and bedroom design and installation to meet customers’ changing needs and requirements.
Our kitchen appliance sales have grown vastly over the years and the natural progression was to offer a full kitchen design and installation service, with a view to continue having a great future in the High Street for many years to come.
What have been the company’s main challenges in 2017/18
We have to convince people that shopping locally does not mean they will pay more – in fact we are actually cheaper than most well-known high street retailers and we offer better customer care and much more competitive after sales warranties too.
What has been your biggest success in 2017/18
Being brave enough to continue to set new standards after 35 years of trading.
What are Kellyvision KCS Limited plans for 2018 and beyond?
We have always had a loyal local customer base serving generations of the same families and we are now trying to generate interest from further afield with this new venture.
What did winning the awards mean to you and what would you say to businesses thinking about entering the awards for the first time?
We had reservations about entering and the first time we did we won! The awards evening was a fabulous and well organised event and it is an honour to put the logo onto all our adverts and have the award in our showroom. Would highly recommend businesses thinking about entering for the first time as it makes you sit back and reflect why we do what we do and how we should be proud to promote our businesses.

The models represent two of the selection of designs within the community, the Fantasia and the Casa Feliz.
"The Fantasia is a new design recently introduced at Arrowhead Reserve to expand the options available to homebuyers," said Gary Hains, vice president of FL Star Construction. "The Fantasia is the first four-bedroom design we’ve created especially for Arrowhead Reserve, a perfect choice for larger families."
The Fantasia offers four bedrooms and two full baths in 1,638 air-conditioned square feet. With lanai, covered entry and two-car garage, the home encompasses 2,273 total square feet under roof.
An open design great room plan, the island kitchen separates the family living space and the dining area. The master bedroom includes a generous walk-in closet and a private bath with twin vanities, a large walk-in shower and linen closet. There is a separate laundry room that offers convenient access from the garage as well as the interior hallway.
The Fantasia is priced starting at $192,900.
"The Casa Feliz remains one of our most popular home designs," Hains said. "It is a basic great room design that fits a variety of family lifestyles."
The Casa Feliz includes three bedrooms and two full baths in 1,473 square feet. With a two-car garage and entry way accented with four columns, the Casa Feliz encompasses 1,975 total square feet.
The great room opens through sliding glass doors to the back patio. The adjacent kitchen offers access to the dining space and provides additional breakfast counter seating. The master bedroom includes a large walk-in closet and master bath with dual sinks and walk-in shower. The two guest bedrooms share access to a full bath that features a tub/shower combination. The laundry room includes a large pantry for storage.
The Casa Feliz is priced starting at $179,900.
Other new home designs available within Arrowhead Reserve range from a three-bedroom, two-bath home with 1,297 air-conditioned square feet and 1,711 total square feet to a three-bedroom plus den, two-bath design with 1,600 air-conditioned square feet and 2,098 total square feet. Built by FL Star Construction, home prices begin at $168,900.
Arrowhead Reserve is close to area amenities that include 1,500-acre Lake Trafford, the State Farmer’s Market with a year-round fresh produce, and the Seminole Casino and Hotel.
