BEAVER DAM, Ky. — There’s no place like home for the holidays, and you didn’t have to roam far to feel the warmth of the season if you participated in the Beaver Dam Woman’s Club Christmas Home Tour.

This years’ Christmas Home Tour was a self-guided tour of seven exquisite homes including the Bill Monroe Homeplace. The homes supplied loads of holiday decorating ideas as each home was spruced up with uniquely adorned Christmas trees, holiday wreaths and an array of twinkling lights, garlands, bells and bows with several unexpected surprises. Over 100 visitors took part in this year’s Christmas Home Tour.

Special thanks to the gracious homeowners on this year’s tour: Jo Young and Kathi, Rudy and Robin Phelps, Spencer and Kami Perez, Lawana Nauman, Larry and Elda Embry, Kenny and Sharon Autry and Jodi Fleener with the Bill Monroe Homeplace.

If you are interested in adding your home to the Christmas Home Tour next year, contact a BDWC member or post a comment on our Beaver Dam Woman’s Club Facebook Page.
